Bilingual Medical Assistant

PSI Affiliates Inc is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide health support to children, administer medications, and manage basic healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide health support to children in school settings
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage basic healthcare needs
- Support the prevention of communicable diseases and implement protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, school staff, and families to ensure optimal care for each child
- Handle confidential patient information and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program (required)
- Experience working with children is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of communicable disease prevention, medication protocols, and basic healthcare practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
