Job Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant in the Lab Funding Healthcare Futures Program, you will play a vital role in supporting the laboratory team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing of all sample types with minimal error rate.
  • Setting up inpatient and outpatient orders with accuracy.
  • Ordering and receiving samples for processing and registration of patients for shell visits.
  • Loading analyzers and the automation line.
  • Assisting with miscellaneous lab tasks, including cleaning, filing, and unboxing shipments.
  • Accessioning and aliquoting samples.
  • Answering phones and providing excellent customer service.
