Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial production and processing machinery, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular process checks to ensure quality standards are met and record results accurately.
  • Verify that all assigned equipment safety guarding is in place and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance tasks performed.
  • Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure set standards are achieved or exceeded.
  • Inspect equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Repair, clean, lubricate, or adjust machinery to optimize its performance.
  • Disassemble, repair, or replace malfunctioning or broken machinery or equipment components.
  • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair.
  • Examine parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage.
  • Perform changeovers and set-ups to equipment as required.
  • Clean work areas using basic cleaning materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
  • Ability to analyze failures, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators.
  • Self-motivated and capable of identifying and completing tasks with minimal direction.
  • Ability to determine causes of operating errors and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to quickly move hands, hands together with arms, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Ability to focus on a single source of sound in the presence of other distracting sounds.
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written English.
  • Minimum of 1 year technical experience required, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Requires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
  • Requires eye/hand/foot coordination.
  • Requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
