This role entails the repair, adjustment, and maintenance of industrial production and processing machinery, ensuring operations are conducted in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct process checks on designated quality documentation and logs.
2. Ensure all safety guards on assigned equipment are intact and maintain cleanliness and organization in machine areas.
3. Record necessary repairs and maintenance activities.
4. Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet or surpass established standards.
5. Observe indicators such as gauges and dials to confirm proper equipment functionality.
6. Inspect machinery, products, materials, or packaging to diagnose errors or defects.
7. Perform repairs, cleaning, lubrication, or adjustments to machinery for optimal performance.
8. Disassemble, repair, or replace malfunctioning or damaged machinery components.
9. Reassemble equipment following inspections, testing, or repairs.
10. Examine parts for signs of wear or damage.
11. Execute changeovers and setups on equipment as necessary.
12. Load or pour work-in-progress components or materials into containers or fill hoppers from designated sources.
13. Maintain cleanliness in work areas using basic cleaning supplies.
14. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Proficient knowledge of machinery and tools, including their design, operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Capability to operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to validate repair effectiveness.
• Ability to analyze failures, machine error notifications, or information provided by operators.
• Self-driven and adept at identifying and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Skill in diagnosing operational errors and implementing effective corrective measures.
• Ability to swiftly manipulate objects using hands and arms.
• Capacity to concentrate on a single auditory source amidst distractions.
• Proficient communication skills in both verbal and written English.
• Minimum of 1 year of technical experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
• Requires coordination of eyes, hands, and feet.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Compensation starting at $20.91.

Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in a technical field is preferred. Significant experience and skills in the field may be considered in lieu of formal education.
