Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Quality Coordinator to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of imaging services for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with imaging leaders to maintain and monitor staffing and workload requirements.
  • Coordinate staff orientation to new equipment and procedures, and maintain in-service education records.
  • Monitor trends and instruct or retrain technologists in problem areas.
  • Perform assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and modification of clinical education in radiology modalities.
  • Consult with physician leaders around procedures done in assigned imaging modality.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain all supply levels in the Imaging Department.
  • Develop and maintain processes that support continued accreditation.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree.
  • Two years' experience in a related field.
Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting/moving of patients.
  • Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Rare kneeling and sitting.
Required Professional License and/or Certifications
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
  • ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen (AB) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Work Environment

This is a day shift position in our Outpatient Services department.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
