PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Custodial Services Associate is dedicated to supporting The Navigators by executing the responsibilities outlined below, in alignment with the mission and values of The Navigators: to promote the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom across the globe through the development of spiritual generations of laborers who engage and mentor those in need.

This role is designed to ensure a well-organized, clean, and focused atmosphere for all individuals at Glen Eyrie by upholding high standards of cleanliness in both guest accommodations and communal spaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs daily cleaning tasks in guest accommodations, which includes: removing used linens and towels, sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, disposing of waste, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming carpeted areas - 70%
  • Maintains cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, lounges, hallways, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other workspaces - 5%
  • During deep cleaning sessions: washes windows, walls, ceilings, appliances, and polishes woodwork as required using appropriate materials - 10%
  • Restocks supplies in meeting rooms - 5%
  • Addresses any immediate guest requests throughout the day - 5%
  • Completes additional tasks as directed by department management - 5%
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifies and reports areas needing repair or maintenance - 2%
  • Engages in daily devotionals, departmental meetings, organization-wide gatherings, and training sessions - 3%
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Commitment to and alignment with the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • Ability to perform continuous manual labor, including kneeling, bending, and lifting for extended periods (minimum of 30 lbs).
  • Preferred experience includes at least 3 months in customer service and 3 months in professional cleaning or janitorial roles.
Compensation Range: $ /hour
