Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specimen Processor to join our team at American Esoteric Laboratories. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing and preparation of laboratory specimens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare laboratory specimens for testing, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.
- Recognize and implement corrective actions to ensure accurate and timely specimen processing.
- Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control initiatives within the laboratory.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production.
