About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Clarvida. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work with adults aged 18 and older who have been discharged from lesser levels of care and require additional behavior supports to maintain their placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients and support systems to create a Safety and Crisis Plan and Individual Behavior Support Plan
  • Meet with clients weekly to focus on and work toward their reported goals
  • Engage family members and residential staff, collaborating and educating them on ways to successfully work with clients
  • Maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation to show client progress or behaviors to address
  • Participate in after-hour phone crisis response approximately 1 week every 3 months
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • 2 years' direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis, under the supervision of a mental health professional
  • Eligible as an Agency Affiliated Counselor through WA DOH (we can assist with submission)
  • Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
