Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers in examination and treatment of patients by performing various duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical records.
- Populate electronic medical records with accurate and timely information, including patient history, medications, and test results.
- Conduct point-of-care tests and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, cooperative, and respectful to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited healthcare program, such as Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, or EMT, preferred.
- Nationally recognized certifications, such as CMA, preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
