Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. As a Nurse - Oncology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in Medical Oncology/Infusion, administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and training in Radiation Oncology and physician practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for patients in Medical Oncology/Infusion
  • Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Train in Radiation Oncology and physician practice
  • Meet regulatory requirements for pre-employment screenings
  • Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s)
Requirements
  • NYS Registered Nurse Licensure
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one-year cancer care experience
  • 3+ years of Oncology experience preferred
  • ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy certification or obtain within 3 months
  • ONCC Certificate preferred
  • Cerner/Power Chart EMR preferred
  • BSN preferred
