Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

The BCBA will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and their families by coordinating and delivering services in Applied Behavior Analysis. This includes conducting functional analyses and assessments, implementing behavior acquisition and reduction strategies, and enhancing adaptive life skills. Additionally, the BCBA will supervise the programming of associate behavior analysts and provide continuous support and oversight to Direct Support Professionals regarding the execution and documentation of Behavior Support Plans.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field in human services
  • Successful completion of an internship and/or formal training in behavior analysis and instructional strategies for clients with pervasive developmental disorders and related conditions
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques, instructional skills, and effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of clients based on age and functionality with minimal supervision
  • BCBA certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience unless prior approval is obtained from the Executive Director
  • Familiarity with Discrete Trial Training (DTT) programming and its implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Capability to utilize office materials as required for the role
  • Flexible availability, including weekdays from 3 PM to 8 PM at a minimum
  • Current certifications and training as mandated
  • Driver's insurance documentation on file with the HR Department
  • Reliable and insured transportation

Reports to: Clinical Director

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the programming and training of support professionals
  • Facilitate training sessions in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Provide informational support for clients and their families
  • Deliver direct instructional support and training
  • Develop and implement assessment tools
  • Conduct data collection and analysis
  • Create behavior plans tailored for clients
  • Offer ongoing support and training to professionals
  • Utilize the Set Works platform for session documentation
  • Provide consultation services and maintain communication with all stakeholders
  • Ensure BCBA certification is maintained through continuing education opportunities
