Job Overview
The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions of the healthcare unit. This position involves assisting the Manager in the supervision, planning, organization, and direction of unit operations, with a strong emphasis on personnel management. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a professional role model, demonstrating clinical leadership and exercising independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a resource for staff regarding departmental record maintenance, scheduling, and staff development.
- Assess educational needs and develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for nursing personnel.
- Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for positive change within the professional practice environment.
- Ensure full-time availability and flexibility to meet the needs of the unit.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- A valid Registered Nurse license.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Position Details
