Key Responsibilities

* Direct the flow of customers through the front end, ensuring efficient service and minimal wait times
* Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a polite and professional manner
* Enforce security and cash control procedures to prevent losses
* Monitor and provide feedback to management on cashier and lot attendant performance
* Participate in training and retraining of front-end associates to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction
* Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, performing all related checkout procedures
* Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged correctly and proper funds are collected
* Maintain proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures
* Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions
* Ensure smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with coworkers and superiors

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* No prior experience necessary
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
