As a Pediatric IMC RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children who require specialized attention beyond general care but do not require intensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage conditions that fall between general care and intensive care, ensuring the well-being of pediatric patients.
- Provide care to children recovering from surgery, chronic illnesses, or complex medical conditions, focusing on stability and progression towards full health.
- Communicate effectively with children, their families, and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.
Requirements:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
Education and Experience:
- Current RN License to practice in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Associate's degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
