Restaurant Team Lead

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for assisting management in the daily operations of Bosselman Food Services, Inc. This role requires a strong culinary aptitude, effective multitasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the restaurant or retail industry, with a focus on customer service and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in interviews, hires, and schedules of Team Members
Assist Kitchen Management to maximize food quality, quick ticket times, labor efficiency, and food/supply cost minimization
Ensure daily sidework is completed by staff
Assist in taking daily inventory counts and verifying it with the Manager
Maintain sanitation procedures
Adhere to checklists and maintenance schedules
Assist in receiving, verifying, and delivering of items to the proper storage areas while dating items received
Rotate food products to preserve quality and control waste
Assist Kitchen Management with food orders
Assist in preserving the food's value through proper ordering, rotation, and defrosting procedures
Monitor food preparation and ensure the freshness of the food to only serve quality food
Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of all kitchen equipment and all stock areas
Understand proper sanitation procedures
Generate fun and excitement through personality and positive attitude to help ensure many return visits from guests
Provide friendly and competent customer service
Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled
Additional Job Duties:
Assist in other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Three to six months of restaurant, retail, or customer service experience
Serv-Safe Certified
Strong culinary aptitude from work and/or educational experiences
Effectively manage multiple tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
Must have PC Software experience with the ability to learn and read data from a POS System
Must be highly motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Understand safe food handling and safety procedures in the kitchen
Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency
Must conduct self in a professional and respectful manner at all times
Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude to promote teamwork
Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required
Good interpersonal communication skills
Maintain confidentiality of all trade secrets, including recipes, policies, and procedures
Must be well-groomed and properly attired
Must be able to work special events, holidays, and weekends
Must have reliable transportation and phone
Must be able to communicate in English
Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
