The Client Relationship Manager collaborates closely with representatives from Clinical Service Lines and the Epic and Information Technology governance committees within clinical departments (including Physicians, Nursing, and Revenue Cycle) to ensure proficiency and optimization of the Epic Comprehensive Health Record and other non-Epic software solutions. By engaging with the governance framework, the Client Relationship Manager will secure data reports, coordinate data analytics, facilitate proficiency training, maintain clinical content, and optimize physician builder functions within the Epic system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Network leaders (Administration and Physician Champions) to establish effective operational management of both ambulatory and inpatient software systems.
- Work alongside business units to implement and enhance clinical and administrative software applications.
- Provide administrative assistance to designated governance committees, including organizing meetings, maintaining documentation, and executing policy decisions.
- Develop strategies for subcommittees aimed at optimizing service lines, including: Physician Builder initiatives, remedial training programs, and clinical content maintenance plans.
- Organize and facilitate the onboarding process for new staff and providers, ensuring access to clinical and nonclinical IT software packages.
- Partner with operational engagement teams to deliver IT software (both Epic and non-Epic) to newly integrated ambulatory practices and hospital facilities.
- Coordinate the adoption of innovative technologies and devices within clinical service lines and departments. Collaborate with Innovation teams to identify challenges faced by each business line regarding processes and technology, and assist in implementing effective solutions.
- Engage with IT service management teams to provide service level reports for each client, encompassing break-fix, demand, projects, maintenance, and more.
- Maintain a communication strategy to relay demand prioritization recommendations among relevant governance committees and subcommittees.
- Oversee and implement post-optimization programs following the go-live of all technology deployments.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires sitting for up to 7 hours daily, with a maximum of 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours daily, with a maximum of 4 hours at a time; and walking for up to 2 hours daily, with a maximum of 1 hour at a time. The role necessitates crouching, kneeling, and lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds, as well as pushing objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Hand and finger dexterity is required for equipment repairs and computer usage. Visual acuity is necessary for general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing ability is essential for normal and telephone conversations.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience is preferred. An advanced degree is also preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3-5 years of general computer experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in MS Office is required.
Extensive experience in hospital operations from both personnel and workflow perspectives is necessary.
