Disability Assessment Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The selected candidate will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.

They will document exam findings electronically through the web portal and ensure accurate and timely completion of the assessment process.

This role is responsible for performing Disability Assessments on Veterans only, without treating or prescribing medication.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to manage time effectively, and possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.

We offer training and continued support, health insurance options, and a computer supplied for the role.

The typical day involves assessing 3 to 5 patients, and the work is performed in a clinical setting.

Key attributes for this role include interest in performing independent medical assessments, ability to analyze data, and proficiency in using a computer.

Requirements include a current, unrestricted NP or PA license from any state and meeting the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
