Field Survey Technician - Brownsville, TX

Halff is seeking a dedicated Field Survey Technician to join our team in Brownsville, TX. This entry-level role involves outdoor work as part of a Land Survey team. While prior survey experience is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. Field Survey Technician Responsibilities:
  • Proficient use of handheld devices (tablets, iPads, etc.)
  • Strong penmanship skills
  • Ability to adhere to both written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable and accountable regarding attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends to meet project timelines
  • Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods outdoors
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and maintain standing positions for long durations
  • Availability to start work at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Willingness to undergo drug and background screening
  • Travel requirements may include up to two weeks at a time, potentially up to 50% of the time.
