Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in multi-family residential environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems in multi-family residential environments
  • Install and maintain plumbing systems, including copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping
  • Detect and repair leaks in plumbing systems
  • Perform drain cleaning and sewage backup troubleshooting and repairs
  • Work with blueprints and job specifications to determine work details and procedures
  • Identify and procure proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
  • Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures
  • Keep records of work assignments
  • Repair, remove, and/or replace system components
  • Install green plumbing equipment, such as faucet flow restrictors, dual-flush toilets, and tankless hot water heaters
  • Weld small pipes or special piping using specialized techniques, equipment, or materials
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance or equivalent field
  • HVAC and EPA certification
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Customer service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
  • Must be flexible and dependable
  • Must be a team player
  • Travel is expected for this position
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
  • Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors or in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule
