Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Daytime Manager to oversee the daily operations of our detailing and maintenance services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing van and shop maintenance, handling inventory, and training new staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the mobile car care team, ensuring customer vehicles are cleaned, maintained, and serviced to the highest standards.
  • Van and Shop Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of our mobile service vans and physical shop space, scheduling and performing routine maintenance to keep all equipment in optimal condition.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment required for detailing, oil changes, and brake services, ensuring timely reordering and proper stock levels.
  • Team Leadership and Training: Train, mentor, and support new and existing daytime detailers, ensuring they follow company protocols, safety guidelines, and customer service standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of completed jobs to ensure that they meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Customer Relations: Address any customer concerns or inquiries during the daytime shift, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Scheduling and Workflow: Organize the team's daily schedule and manage workflows to ensure services are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce all health and safety regulations in the shop and on the road to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with upper management to align on operational goals and strategies for growth.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in automotive detailing, maintenance, or fleet management preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive services such as detailing, oil changes, and brake repairs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with inventory management practices.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
