Job Title: Account Executive - Media Sales

RACER Media & Marketing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive - Media Sales to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and innovation across our media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage prospective advertisers and partners for RACER's media platforms.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals and communicate the unique value that RACER provides.
  • Create comprehensive, cross-platform media strategies that integrate RACER's digital presence, premium print content, and influencer-driven initiatives.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings to position RACER as a leader in motorsports media.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage and track account progress and sales forecasts.
  • Represent RACER at key industry events and meetings to build brand awareness and foster client relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising media sales.
  • 5+ years of strategic media sales experience with a proven track record in consultative sales.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling, and managing a full sales cycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the motorsports or automotive industry.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $115k-$135k per year with significant upside potential through performance-based commission. Base pay will consider the candidate's geographic region, experience, and skills. The comprehensive compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
