As a Clinical Research Nurse II, you will be an integral part of our Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center team, working closely with researchers, clinicians, and patients to advance our understanding of cancer and develop new treatments.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical trials, managing patient data, and communicating with study participants and sponsors. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical trials from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks
  • Manage patient data, including medical records and laboratory results
  • Communicate with study participants, their families, and sponsors throughout the trial process
  • Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless trial execution
  • Participate in site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and audits as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current RN licensure in the District of Columbia
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in oncology research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and adhering to Good Clinical Practice guidelines
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $66,783 - $126,720, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings options, and paid time off.
