Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join our team at Platinum Dermatology Partners. As a Histotechnologist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in the histology lab, including embedding, microtomy, staining, and filing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embedding: Prepare tissue samples for sectioning and staining.
  • Microtomy: Section tissue samples using a microtome.
  • Routine Staining: Perform routine staining procedures on tissue samples.
  • Special Staining/immunohistochemistry: Conduct special staining and immunohistochemistry procedures on tissue samples.
  • Filing: Organize and file slides, blocks, and paperwork in a systematic manner.
  • Equipment Quality Control: Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on histology equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: HT(ASCP) or eligible required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in histology preferred.
  • Other Requirements: None.
Working Conditions

The position is located in a well-lighted medical laboratory environment. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
