Job OverviewRumble Boxing Shrewsbury is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to spearhead our studio's growth and success. As the GM, you will be responsible for driving membership acquisition, managing studio operations, and fostering a vibrant and energetic community. This full-time role requires a strong passion for fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Marketing:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive studio growth, including membership renewals and ancillary services.
    • Engage in targeted marketing efforts to generate and manage leads, leveraging the LASER process to convert leads to members.
  • Membership & Community Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with members to ensure high retention and referrals.
    • Uphold the studio's mission of providing an energetic and communal fitness experience.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead the Rumble Team, including hiring, training, and supervising staff, as well as managing class and staff schedules.
    • Develop and implement team performance initiatives, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Financial Management:
    • Collaborate with the Studio Owner to set and achieve financial targets, conducting monthly and quarterly planning to ensure goals are met.
    • Handle basic financial reporting and budgeting as needed.
  • Operations & Facility Management:
    • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the studio, ensuring a positive member experience.
    • Manage studio technology and submit trouble tickets as necessary.
    • Participate in Pop-Ups and other grassroots events to promote the studio.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in retail/service sales or fitness sales.
  • Training: Must attend a mandatory 3-day General Manager training (live or virtual).
  • Sales Skills: Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales techniques.
  • Communication: Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with members and team members.
  • Passion for Fitness: A strong affinity and passion for fitness is essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and studio management software.
  • Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make decisions using good judgment.
  • Event Participation: Willingness to work outside the studio at events and marketing activities.
Commission & Bonus Structure

Earn a 1% commission on Membership Revenues from members who joined before the previous month. Earn 1% commission on Total Revenues exceeding $52,000 per month, including revenues from new memberships, recurring memberships, class packages, retail sales, and fees (excluding taxes, and ClassPass/Healthcare Memberships). Achieve EFT Membership Goals: 300 members - $3,000 bonus, 350 members - Additional $3,000 bonus, 400 members - $5,000 added to annual salary.
