Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process a range of customer transactions in line with banking regulations, including account management for various products.
  • Engage in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives by volunteering with eligible organizations during business hours.
  • Conduct teller operations such as cashing checks, managing deposits and withdrawals, and issuing monetary instruments.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by warmly welcoming clients and building strong professional relationships.
  • Perform branch opening and closing tasks, along with other operational duties.
  • Maintain cash drawer accuracy and assist with vault balancing.
  • Manage incoming correspondence and maintain organized logs and reports.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, addressing concerns and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols to protect customer confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a teller or customer service role is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years in customer service is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software applications is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Self-motivated with critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Occasional overnight and out-of-town travel may be required.
