Position Summary:

The Commercial Leasing – Leasing & Asset Manager serves as the primary contact and leader within the Commercial Leasing division for designated resorts. This role may involve travel to various locations as required. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Leasing, the Leasing & Asset Manager will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring retail and dining trends, identifying potential tenants, and optimizing space utilization within the portfolio.
  • Conducting lease assessments, tenant evaluations, and facilitating deal negotiations.
  • Providing financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting, and generating reports.
  • Collaborating with tenants on project management and overseeing capital allocation for various initiatives.
  • Actively participating in association boards and engaging with key stakeholders across departments.

This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical prowess. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing commercial leases, financial modeling, and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and onboard new tenants while structuring lease agreements and amendments.
  • Analyze retail performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Plan and manage capital investments for tenant renovations and buildouts.
  • Coordinate construction and maintenance projects in collaboration with tenants and property management.
  • Foster positive relationships with tenants and village leadership to address operational challenges.
  • Support retail sales initiatives through marketing and merchandising strategies.
  • Manage lease compliance and handle tenant-related issues under legal guidance.
  • Maintain accurate lease documentation and reporting for assigned resorts.
  • Engage with finance teams to ensure effective budgeting and capital planning.
  • Represent the company in HOA boards and oversee relevant budgets and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing, asset management, or property management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to negotiate lease terms and interpret legal documents.
  • Project management experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with tenants and vendors.
  • Willingness to travel to various resort locations as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected total compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000, plus an annual bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
