Position Overview
The Dispensary Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all personnel and processes within the dispensary.

The ideal candidate will manage key responsibilities, including staff management, inventory oversight, and customer relationship building, while also tracking financial objectives for the dispensary.

This position reports directly to the Director of Retail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, manage, and cross-train team members across all relevant functions.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for individual team members.
- Achieve revenue targets through comprehensive management practices, staff training, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the Director of Retail to develop promotions, establish competitive pricing, and market in-house brands.
- Oversee all cash flow operations within the store, including till management, cash handling, and deposits.
- Manage supply procurement for the dispensary, including paper products, office supplies, and replacement items.
- Provide effective training for staff on all company protocols, product knowledge, and service philosophy to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Foster relationships with customers by being present on the sales floor, communicating promotions, and working with staff to enhance customer relations under all circumstances.

Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the cannabis industry, particularly regarding cash handling, product knowledge, inventory processes, compliance, and audits.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a specialized retail environment, overseeing one or more locations.
- Ability to pass all necessary background checks in accordance with Illinois cannabis regulations.
