Job Overview
The Dispensary Store Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all personnel and operational processes within the dispensary.

The ideal candidate will manage essential duties such as supervising staff, overseeing inventory, fostering customer relationships, and monitoring financial objectives for the dispensary, among other responsibilities.

This position reports directly to the Director of Retail.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruit, manage, and cross-train team members across all relevant operational areas.
2. Conduct annual performance evaluations for individual team members.
3. Achieve revenue targets through effective management practices, staff development, and customer engagement.
4. Collaborate with the Director of Retail to develop promotions, establish competitive pricing, and market in-house brands.
5. Oversee all in-store cash management, including till setup, cash handling, and deposits.
6. Manage supply procurement for the dispensary, including office supplies and replacement items.
7. Provide comprehensive training for staff on company protocols, product knowledge, and service standards to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

8. Cultivate customer relationships by actively engaging on the sales floor, communicating promotions, and collaborating with staff to enhance customer service.

Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of the cannabis industry, particularly in cash management, product knowledge, inventory processes, compliance, and audits.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a specialized retail environment, overseeing one or more locations.
• Ability to pass all required background checks in accordance with Illinois cannabis regulations.
