The Referral Specialist will review, analyze, and document all referral requests, obtain necessary authorizations for all plans (UHC Navigate, Global Health, Medicaid/Soonercare), and coordinate the scheduling of the referred-to specialty, including communication with the specialty office and patient.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze referral requests to ensure accurate and timely processing

- Document all referral requests and related activities
The Referral Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with possible exposure to hazardous materials, hot and cold temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds
- Ability to stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
