This role will involve working collaboratively within the Systems Engineering domain to design and develop cutting-edge systems that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire comprehensive technical expertise in the assigned Effectors subsystem.
  • Facilitate the flow down of requirements and their allocation to subsystems, while also developing a requirements traceability verification matrix.
  • Establish and implement subsystem design and architecture, adhering to established standards and procedures, utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies as necessary.
  • Take ownership of interface requirements for specific systems or subsystems.
  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to maintain and refine subsystem requirements.
  • Engage with Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to address issues and support subsystem analysis and trades.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members based on your level of experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of eight years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree with five years of experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in missile systems design, integration, testing, or flight demonstration.
  • Proficiency in capturing and maintaining system requirements.
  • Experience in managing teams focused on requirements definition and changes.
  • Familiarity with DOORS, SysML, DoDAF, WOSA, MOSA, or GRA.
  • Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and Model-Based Systems Engineering tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing interface designs and documenting them in specifications.
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance (Department of Defense) is a plus.
