Job Summary:

Kimbrell's Furniture is seeking a highly skilled and professional Office Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for communicating directly with customers, resolving their debts, and collecting payments in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers diligently, courteously, and professionally while collecting payments.
  • Must have good knowledge of cash management procedures and best practices. Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Follow set strategies for collection procedures.
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  • Ability to gather and verify customers' personal and credit information.
  • Retain customer loyalty while initiating processes for the collection of payments.
  • Maintain and update records of customers from whom collections are made.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience or similar role.
  • Cooperation and the ability to work in a team setting is a vital skill required for this position.
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
  • Patience and ability to manage stressful work situations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Weekend and Holiday availability.
  • Bilingual preferred.
