- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
- Assess and document patient conditions, identifying physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and age-related needs to provide individualized care.
- Delegate tasks to other nursing personnel, consistent with their level of education and expertise, to maximize staff performance and meet patient needs.
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds, providing input on patient care and contributing to desired outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Must have labor and delivery experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Connecticut RN license.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
- Two years of Medical-Surgical/Critical Care experience preferred.
