Key Responsibilities:- Direct a globally dispersed team of software test engineers to ensure comprehensive testing of embedded-based software for Trane commercial HVAC products.
- Provide estimates for testing schedules, test resources, and equipment needs to ensure timely project delivery.
- Analyze functional requirements to generate a comprehensive set of test cases and write functional test procedures and automated test scripts.
- Execute test procedures and automated test scripts as part of formal product testing and conduct exploratory testing based on detailed knowledge of the product under test.
- Collaborate with extended team to build and enhance automated test tools and frameworks.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, HVACR Technology, or related discipline, or commensurate experience in software development or software testing.
- 2-6 years of experience in engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
- Understanding of safety measures when working with electrical equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others in writing and orally.
