Position Summary
The Lead Licensed Clinician (LLC) is accountable for supervising clinical programs and clinicians within this dynamic non-profit behavioral health clinic. The LLC will manage a caseload, offer supervision and consultation to clinicians and staff, and collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, including standardized treatment modalities and measurement-based care. Responsibilities include coordinating professional development and training for clinic staff, supporting interns/externs, overseeing training enrollment, and implementing evidence-based practices. Regular meetings with the clinical team will be held to discuss caseloads and current issues. The LLC will act as a liaison between Cohen Veterans Network and Child & Family Service to ensure compliance with established protocols and policies, while effectively managing metrics for episodes of care and utilization rates.
Education and Training Requirements
- Hawaii State licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC with CCMHC, Psy D or Ph D
- A minimum of three years' experience in a clinical environment
- At least three years of supervisory experience
Experience
- Clinical skills for conducting brief and targeted assessments to provide psychotherapy interventions, health and behavior change, substance use treatment, and triage for appropriate levels of care.
- Experience working with military and diverse populations, with a focus on PTSD treatment, is highly recommended.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain an organized work environment, and communicate effectively.
- This is a full-time exempt position requiring availability during days, evenings, and weekends. Some travel may be necessary.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families
- Knowledge of DSMV diagnoses
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices, including standardized treatment modalities and measurement-based care
- Experience with PTSD diagnosis and treatment
- Preferred experience working with military populations and/or veterans
- National Board Certification in the relevant practice discipline
- Ability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
