KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Licensed Clinician (LLC) will oversee clinical programs and staff within a dynamic non-profit behavioral health clinic. Responsibilities include maintaining a clinical caseload, providing supervision and consultation to clinicians and support staff, and collaborating with the Clinical Director to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, including structured treatment modalities and measurement-based care. The LLC will coordinate professional development and training for clinic staff, support interns/externs, and oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices. Regular meetings with the clinical team will be held to discuss caseloads and current issues. The LLC will act as a liaison between Cohen Veterans Network and Child & Family Service to ensure compliance with established protocols and policies, while effectively managing metrics related to episodes of care and utilization rates.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Hawaii State licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC with CCMHC, Psy D, or Ph D
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical environment
  • At least three years of supervisory experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated clinical skills for conducting brief and targeted assessments, providing psychotherapy interventions, health and behavior change, substance use treatment, and triage for appropriate levels of care.
  • Experience working with military and diverse populations, particularly in treating PTSD, is highly recommended.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain an organized work environment, and communicate effectively.
  • This is a full-time exempt position requiring availability during days, evenings, and weekends. Some travel may be necessary.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families
  • Knowledge of DSMV diagnoses
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices, including structured treatment modalities and measurement-based care
  • Experience in PTSD diagnosis and treatment
  • Preferred experience working with military populations and/or veterans
  • National Board Certification in relevant practice discipline
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Clinical skills for conducting brief and targeted assessments for psychotherapy interventions, health and behavior change, and substance use treatment
  • Passion for evidence-based treatment and targeted, time-limited interventions
  • Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships
