About This Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Specialist to support initiatives associated with K-State 105 and the Kansas Water Institute programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of preaward research administration, including proposal review, budgetary guidance, and compliance with state laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on proposal development, budgeting, and compliance
  • Assist with program team(s) to ensure a streamlined experience when collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Develop and negotiate service agreements, facilitate execution, and provide oversight on project management needs
  • Ensure central oversight on partner payments and compliance with service agreement deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in grants and contract administration, preferably in a higher education setting
