Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Monitor departmental budgets and regulatory compliance, and make informed decisions about systems, equipment, and supply purchases.
- Evaluate the quality of patient care delivered and assess the needs of patients and families, providing patient-centered care.
- Manage staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee scheduling, recruitment, labor utilization, retention, payroll, and student engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required)
- Three years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience
- Strong critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to patient care areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
