Responsibilities

  • Supervise Patient Care: Participate in staffing and scheduling for efficient patient care, supervise patient assessments, medications, and documentation, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Mentor and Educate: Mentor and educate nursing staff for their professional growth and development.
  • Monitor Compliance: Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, maintain quality standards, and conduct audits for improvement.
  • Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication for care coordination among healthcare team members.
  • Advocate for Patients: Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond to medical emergencies according to protocols.
  • Ensure Accurate Documentation: Ensure accurate electronic health record documentation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Keep updated on healthcare regulations for staff compliance.
Requirements
  • Valid RN License: Valid and active Registered Nurse State license.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous nursing leadership experience.
  • BLS Certification: BLS certification.
