Regional Member Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Member Service Specialist to join our team at Metro Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service and support to our members across various branches.
Key Responsibilities- Provide float branch coverage to assigned regions, assisting with day-to-day operations, opening and closing of branch locations, and member service support.
- Assist with secondary support duties via phone support for the Universal Service Center and answering Secure Messages.
- Identify financial needs of new and existing members while providing exemplary service and instilling a strong business relationship.
- Accurately complete all account opening requirements, teller transactions, and end-of-day branch balancing, as assigned.
- Conduct consumer loan interviews, aid members in the completion of loan applications, and ensure that approval conditions are met.
- Contribute to sales goals, make effective referrals to Retail partners, and resolve member escalations by determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction/adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution meets the member's needs.
- Comply with all Metro policies and standard operating procedures, with particular attention to Office of Foreign Assets Control and security transactions, and Bank Secrecy Act.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and bank operations.
- Supervisory responsibilities: Provide as needed supervisory support to branch staff in the absence of a dedicated Branch Supervisor when assigned to a branch location.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Prior banking or financial experience is strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer software, flexibility, and ability to establish rapport quickly with others.
- Strong communication skills and service-oriented, attention to detail, and accuracy with data input skills.
