Job Opportunity: Adult Neuropsychologist

The University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a highly qualified Adult Neuropsychologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Adult Neuropsychology program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough neuropsychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose and treat adult neurological and psychiatric disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve cognitive and behavioral functioning
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, researchers, and educators to advance the field of neuropsychology and improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in departmental and interdepartmental committees to promote collaboration and innovation
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publication, and presentation, to contribute to the advancement of neuropsychology
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an APA/CPA-accredited institution
  • Completed APA/CPA-approved pre-doctoral internship and formal postdoctoral training in neuropsychology
  • Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN)
  • Eligibility for licensure in Minnesota and ability to obtain a Minnesota Board of Psychology license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
