ROLE OVERVIEW

The Finance Manager will be an integral part of the finance team at BCG, concentrating on management reporting, strategic planning, and providing commercial support for our public sector clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management Reporting: Oversee the management reporting for the public sector leadership team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial insights.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Direct the FP&A function within the BCG FED/Public sector, emphasizing analytics and insightful reporting.
  • Collaboration: Engage with various business partners, including the commercial finance team and regional/global finance units, to foster effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contractual Support: Work closely with the Contracts team to meet contractual reporting obligations and maintain transparency in client contracting.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Address ad hoc requests and perform additional duties as necessary to support the finance team.
  • Client Financial Management: Manage case budgets, accounts receivable, and collections, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports to support the business objectives of the US FED client sector.
  • Local Accounting: Contribute to statutory reporting and support case code accounting, collaborating with the General Ledger team.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships across all levels.

  • Experience in finance-related roles, with a focus on public sector or defense contracting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling and financial analytics tools.
