Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Results Educational Fund. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations, including coding and compliance of payables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit all payment requests from staff and vendors to ensure compliance with grant funder requirements and organizational policies.
  • Apply accurate fund coding to expenses, including grants and unrestricted funding sources.
  • Provide monthly estimates of costs for completed activities and collaborate with colleagues in Finance and Grants Administration to provide information on expenses recorded and projections for expenses not yet finalized.
  • Match invoices for check and wire/ACH requests, expense reports, and third-party reimbursements to payments for the weekly payment process schedule.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent in work or life experience relevant to the position.
  • Four years of experience in researching and applying fund coding to expenses, with a preference for grants and unrestricted funding sources.
  • Experience with implementation of necessary and appropriate financial controls per GAAP.
