This position is part of a team that provides engineering and information technology services to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of databases.
  • Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
  • Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.
  • Establish and maintain database user accounts.
  • Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis, and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
  • Evaluate requirements and recommend available DBMS products.
  • Perform database and software life-cycle activities ensuring the highest level of system performance and availability.
  • Provide server administration with a variety of database products, including Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and SYBASE.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or in lieu of degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of databases.
  • Experience in administering, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
  • Experience organizing and formatting data for efficient query and storage processes.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining database user accounts.
  • Experience performing disaster recovery, performance analysis, and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
  • Experience in the development of policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
  • Experience evaluating requirements and recommending available DBMS products.
  • Experience performing database and software life-cycle activities ensuring the highest level of system performance and availability.
  • Experience providing server administration with a variety of database products, including Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and SYBASE.
Security Clearance Requirements:

Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph based upon a SSBI.
