We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Banking Manager to join our Equity Capital Markets team at HSBC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing equities, equity-linked, and strategic equity transactions on behalf of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and execute equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, and other equity-linked products.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, research, and trading, to deliver capital markets advice to our corporate clients.
- Manage the day-to-day execution process, liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisors as needed.
- Interact with investment banking teams, industry sector banking teams, and other capital markets teams to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in investment banking, equity capital markets, or a related field.
- Qualifying experience must include at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preparing pitch materials, creating and interpreting financial models, transaction structuring, issuer due diligence, and investor management.
- Qualifying experience must also include at least 4 years of experience in ECM experience and working as part of a multiple deal team for equity capital markets transactions.
- FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses required.
