Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Lead to join our team at Rise Baking Company. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Indirectly supervise employees in the Maintenance Department, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production personnel, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; two or more years of technical schooling preferred.
  • Experience: Five years of related experience in a food or other manufacturing plant.
  • Skills: Strong motor controls and PLC skills; ability to use a computer; ability to train and work on various shifts; knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems; practical knowledge of plant electrical/mechanical systems; strong working knowledge of automated conveyor systems; ability to analyze electro-mechanical devices, trouble shoot failures, and implement repairs.
