As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will engage with cutting-edge technologies, enhance your imaging expertise, and contribute to various research initiatives and clinical trials.
The CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures as assigned, adhering to radiation safety protocols, exercising professional judgment during imaging tasks, and ensuring optimal patient care throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct imaging procedures as assigned
- Position patients effectively to ensure quality image acquisition
- Select appropriate technical parameters
- Utilize computer systems to document patient information
- Operate all technical equipment proficiently within the diagnostic modality
- Assist physicians in executing imaging studies
- Prepare contrast materials for patient administration and support the physician
- Maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Manage inventory of necessary supplies
Qualifications Required
- Completion of formal Radiology technology training from an accredited institution
- Strong communication skills and exceptional patient care abilities
- Current ARRT registry within 12 months of hire
- Advanced CT certification is required (New Graduates are welcome)
- Licensure by the State of Illinois (IEMA)
- CPR certification is required; BLS certification is recommended
