Job Summary:

The Lead CT Technologist will serve as a subject matter expert for the department, overseeing onboarding, communication, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and resolving safety, patient, and team member concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist radiologists and other Medical Center staff with imaging requests at the technical level.
  • Transport patients to and from the Medical Imaging Department.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance team collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an Accredited school in radiography.
  • One year experience in CT.
  • Current license from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT in Radiography certification.
  • CT Certification within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support certification American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three years experience in CT.
  • CT Certification.
