Job Summary

Lewis-Clark State College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Tennis Coach and Indoor Facility Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the college's tennis program, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the indoor facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Recruitment: Identify and recruit prospective student-athletes who meet the academic and athletic requirements for the tennis program.
  • Team Management: Instruct team members in tennis-related skills and techniques, and assist in planning and implementing all aspects of the tennis program.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the daily operations of the indoor facility, including maintenance, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the tennis program and indoor facility to the college community and local residents.
  • Communication and Organization: Develop and maintain effective communication with team members, coaches, and college administrators, and ensure that all program activities are well-organized and efficiently managed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Collegiate coaching experience or high school coaching experience in tennis, as well as facility management experience.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Collegiate Playing Experience: Collegiate playing experience in tennis.
  • Fundraising and Marketing Experience: Experience in fundraising and marketing activities, including lessons, camps, and clinics.
