About the Role

Jabil is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join its team in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Subject Matter Expert on production equipment, this individual will coordinate activities, perform maintenance and repairs, and monitor daily measurables to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic and complex production equipment maintenance, repair, and scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot specific machine-related and process-related issues and resolve them.
  • Create, edit, debug, and optimize machine programs.
  • Work with internal and external customers and equipment vendors to improve process-related issues.
  • Coordinate with other team members and equipment vendors to address issues.
  • Work safely at all times and comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience with demonstrated practical knowledge in the field.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and perform procedures and work instructions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
