Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Education to join our team at Touchstone Communities. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our healthcare community by developing and implementing education programs that meet the needs of our staff and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate education programs for nursing staff, including general orientation and skills training.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Serve as a member of the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) committee and work collaboratively with other departments to identify and meet training needs.
  • Staff Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all education programs and activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Current Texas RN Nursing License: Must have a current and valid Texas RN nursing license.
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing: Previous educational nurse leadership experience in skilled nursing is preferred.
